Mt Penang Excursion
The first TAG event for 2025 was a bus tour of the beautiful Central Coast, ending at Mt Penang Gardens. Twenty-four people travelled with Con Roussos on the bus, while another four people joined the group for lunch at the Waterfall Cafe.
Everyone enjoyed the experience and fun of driving down together in a hired bus. Con and Leanne gave us excellent care with a special 'travel pack' gift to sustain us on the journey! We stopped at Norah Head Lighthouse and then took the scenic route along the beaches through Terrigal etc, ending up at the amazing gardens at Mr Penang. There were 12 gardens in a stunning natural setting, including aquatic gardens, native flora, walking paths and the famous Wondabyne Stone Sculptures. Lunch at the Waterfall Cafe was delicious with the staff super friendly and efficient.
