Coliseum Antiques
Meet at the church at 10.00am for a fascinating talk by Graeme Tretheway on the history of the coliseum, spiced with the interesting story of the last owner, the irascible Leo. He was a local identity, well known to the businesses around Mayfield. You will be intrigued and entertained by Graeme as he tells us of this unique character and his untimely end.
Today, Leo's old, run-down shop has been renovated to become a stunning heritage-listed building. Coliseum Antiques is the largest Antique Centre in Newcastle with 26 different shops displaying a range of ever-changing stock.
Browse through their amazing collections. Be welcomed by the friendly, knowledgeable dealers, find a treasure, go hunting for a fabulous bargain and enjoy a trip down memory lane.
